Kevin “Frenchy” French Obituary, FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Kevin “Frenchy” French, a beloved friend, brother, bartender and former football player, passed away on August 26, 2026. News of his passing was shared with friends and relatives, prompting an outpouring of remembrance from people whose lives he touched in Southwest Philadelphia and Fort Lauderdale.

French was remembered as someone who had been a longtime part of the lives of several friends dating back to his childhood. Those who knew him recalled their shared years from Cecil Street to 58th Street, Barney’s, 71 WC and 75, as well as the years that followed after he moved to Fort Lauderdale.
