EL PASO, Texas — Law enforcement officers were responding to a developing situation at Americas High School in El Paso on Friday, with a FireSTAR helicopter also reportedly dispatched to the school, per to information available shortly after 9 a.m.

The school is located at 12101 Pellicano Drive in El Paso and is part of the Socorro Independent School District.
