Benjamin Hedrick Obituary, JOPLIN, Mo. — Benjamin Hedrick, 21, of Joplin, Missouri, has died after suffering critical injuries in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night on Range Line Road, according to the Joplin Police Department.
The fatal collision transpired at approximately 9:50 p.m. in the 3300 block of Range Line Road. According to investigators, Hedrick was riding a motorcycle northbound on Range Line Road when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck that was turning left onto the roadway from a private drive.
Emergency crews responded to the crash and found Hedrick seriously injured. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where he later lost her life from injuries sustained in the collision, police reported.
The driver and passenger inside the pickup truck were not stated to have suffered injuries in the crash. Authorities have not released additional information about the identities of the truck’s occupants.
